Since the beginning of 2012 alone, the company has doubled its staff, adding ten in house employees, with plans to continue hiring in 2013. Growing just as rapidly, it has doubled the number of store gift cards offered since January and continues to add local Dallas merchants to the product offerings. In addition to raising 3M in royalty financing from Cypress Growth Capital, CardLab, Inc. recently purchased 1-800 Gift Card, Inc., which embodies the GiftCard.com domain name and 1-800-GIFT CARD® phone number. The ownership and use of the URL will continue fuel the company’s growth and expand audience reach in 2013 and beyond.
